Our team in Welwyn was recently awarded a top prize in the national cemetery of the year awards. The Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management holds an annual award ceremony to recognise high standards within burial grounds, which not only takes account of excellence, but it is also an acknowledgement of compliance with legislation and best practice.
Our team at the Oak Hill Lawn Cemetery won gold this year in the small/medium category. This award builds on the successes we achieved earlier this year where we were also recognised with a gold standard award in the Bereaved Assessment Process for Cremation and a silver standard award in the Bereaved Assessment Process for Burials.
Well done to the team in Welwyn who can proudly say they look after one of the best managed and maintained cemeteries in the country.
