Krinkels UK had the honour of sponsoring the “Community Champion: Supporting People Award” at the Wandsworth Civic Awards 2025. The ceremony gives the Authority, its partners, and its residents, the opportunity to recognise those people who go above and beyond to help other people. There were many powerful, moving, and inspiring stories that were shared over the course of the evening, highlighting and detailing some of the incredible work that is taking place across communities.
Steve Morris, Assistant Director of Operations, who attended remarked “Watching everyday heroes get the recognition they deserve was genuinely moving. These are the people who quietly make Wandsworth the special place we all know and love.”
The evening really brought home just how much work goes on behind the scenes, by people who are not concerned with recognition: they simply do what they can to help others. We were incredibly proud to be involved in the event, and to have had the opportunity to play a small part in shining a light on the stories of all the winners and nominees who continue to work hard for their neighbours and communities.
