The South East Cancer Help Centre (SECHC) is an independent charity that supports people who are, or have been, affected by cancer. Anyone who uses the centre can access individual and group support, complementary therapies, and useful information about their circumstances in a welcoming and supportive environment.

As part of our work to support the local community in Croydon, we reached out to them to discuss how we might be able to help. We had noticed the hedges in the car park were overgrown and had encroached onto the parking bays. There were weeds which need to be pulled, and a fair bit of litter which needed to be bagged and removed.

The last thing people want to see when turning up for therapy or support session is clutter, litter, and overgrown hedges. Our local teams in Croydon have been out helping with this, doing what we know best, and getting to work on the grounds.

All of the work was completed quickly, carefully and safely to give the site some much needed TLC. This car park clean-up is just a small way in which Krinkels UK has helped SECHC provide a positive visitor experience, helping them ensure the centre remains welcoming and accessible from the moment visitors arrive.

A big thank you and well done to the SECHC for the brilliant work they do every day and for allowing us to be involved, and to our teams who have taken time to support a really positive cause. We’re really happy to be back working in Croydon and supporting the local community.
