It has been a year since three people, including two firefighters, tragically lost their lives at a fire at the Bicester Motion site on 15 May 2025. Our teams in Bicester were proud to support the creation of a memorial garden at Bicester Fire Station to honour them.
Our teams donated trees, shrubs, planting materials, and as much time as was needed to help create this space for the crews and the families of the victims.
The response to this incident, and the widespread support offered by many local people and businesses, is a testament to the community spirit in Bicester, and the high regard in which Oxfordshire Fire Service, and the wider emergency services are rightly held.
When we were first approached about being involved in this cause, there was only ever going to be one answer. We are proud to have played a small part in bringing this project together, and hope that our efforts have gone some way to creating a space where the people who use it can reflect and find peace.
